During the months of July and August, the rental period for the cottages is on a weekly basis from Saturday to Saturday. Outside of these two months, the cottages can be rented on a daily basis. The cottages are well spaced out on the property and quiet. The resort provides access to an outdoor swimming pool, a heated indoor swimming pool and tennis.
Montlaur is the closest village to the resort. It is a charming local village typical to the area, which has been fully restored. It offers three restaurants, a grocery store/bakery, bar/tabacconist and butcher. Montlaur lies at the door of the great Causses Park, between Millau and Albi in South Aveyron. The village is near the Dourdou river making it ideal for river fishing. We can also accommodate groups of 15-40 people (except during school holidays). There is a mini farm within the resort complex with small animals that can be visited by all the guests and is enjoyed by children in particular.
There are many attractions that can be discovered and explored nearby. The village of Genets is 200 meters from the village of Montlaur in the heart of Rougier Camarès, an area renowned for its colourful surrounding countryside due to the red soil in the area. There are many meadows with horses and sheep grazing. The Millau Viaduct and Roquefort cheese caves are close by. In terms of castles, there are the medieval castle of Montaigut and Fayet 17th century chateau that are of interest. You will also see the Templar citadels with the Cavalry, the Couvertoirade and viala of no jau. Finally, the Tarn Valley has many villages to visit as well as the stunning gorges of the Tarn.
